Today's shave was most likely the closest shave I have ever had. There are, admittedly, a few spots that do have some barely perceptible stubble. Nothing noticeable to the eye though, so all in all I call this a BBS.
The soap was Arko with yesterday's leftovers and two drops of Ka'aila Niu Coconut Oil. The lather was still a little "grabby", "stuttery", not the smooth glide I am looking for. Tomorrow I plan to try a couple of drops of glycerin as I've heard that helps. So far my impression of Arko is very favorable. Interestingly, the scent has grown on me to the point that I want my daily use soap to have that, or very similar, scent.
Razor was Wilkinson's Sword Classic which has been working the best so far. (Here's a link to Amazon for a package of 5, free shipping).
I was able to take my time and had very little irritation. This was the third day on this blade. These blades seem to do better after the first shave or two.
