Today I tried adding a little glycerin to the Arko soap to see if it would slicken up a bit. Two drops seemed to do a little something so tomorrow I will try adding 3-4, and then maybe a bit of the coconut oil we picked up at the Hilo Farmer's Market.
The lather was still a bit stuttery, but better than yesterday. I did a face lather and skipped the hot towel, using only the washcloth for a bit. That may have led to the less than BBS shave today.
It was the fourth day on the Wilkinson's blade. There was a bit of irritation so I skipped a little on the clean up figuring it'll be there tomorrow, I'll get it then.
I read about using Noxzema under the lather, so now there is something else I will get around to trying as Noxzema is something we can get here and actually have on hand.
